Seasonal Lawn Clean Ups

Spring Lawn Clean Ups

The work done to your lawn in early spring sets the tone for how healthy your turf will be throughout the rest of the growing season.

Our spring clean ups include:

  • Removing leaves, sticks and other debris from your landscape beds to the turf
  • Bagging all the grass and leaves with mowers (any turf that has grown will be mowed during this process)
  • All leaves, debris and grass is hauled away to be composted

Spring lawn clean up services are performed mid-April (weather permitting) through the first part of May and generally wind down when the grass begins to grow and weekly mowing services begin.

Spring Lawn Clean Up and Dethatching

Dethatching

When thatch (a layer of dead grass and other debris) builds up, especially after a long winter with a heavy snowpack, this can impede turf growth. Removing thatch through the process of dethatching (also called power raking) is the best method to “open up” your lawn in the spring.

The ideal time to dethatch your lawn is early spring, often combined with a spring clean up. To maximize the effectiveness of your spring clean up and lawn dethatching, many clients will follow up with the first fertilizing application of the year shortly after the clean up and dethatching is complete.

Leaf Removal Services

Leaf Removal/Fall Cleans Ups

Removing leaves from your lawn and landscape areas in the fall is a monumental task, especially if you have several large trees on your property. In addition to spending your evenings and weekends raking leaves, then comes the task of hauling away dozens of bags of leaves. Save time and sanity this fall by giving us a call!

Our fall clean ups include:

  • Removing leaves, sticks and other debris from the landscape beds to the turf
  • Bagging all the grass and leaves with mowers (any turf that has grown will be cut one last time during this process)
  • All leaves, debris and grass is hauled away to be composted

Leaf removal services are performed from mid-October through mid-November (weather permitting).
